But humans, being blessed with a very intelligent brain, have learned to cope up with all of this and now things are finally starting to get better, We can all expect to go back to our normal lives completely by 2022. Robots have been a part of the hospitality business for many years but you can expect an increase in their usage at restaurants. For providing a safe, contactless experience, lots of venues will employ robots as waiters. There are other cheaper options as well which include self-ordering via phones, tabs, etc. But who wouldn’t prefer to be served by a walking and talking robot waiter?
Lab to plate
The meat industry has always been criticized for being cruel to animals. As people are shifting more towards a conscious lifestyle, the solutions to such problems are being developed. What if you can get restaurant taste made in labs? This year, Singapore became the first country to allow the sale of lab-grown meat. Now, gelation, coffee, honey, dairy products and much more are expected to join.
Plant-based
COVID-19 is said to have originated from a human who consumed a bat. This has made people change their eating habits with lots of them choosing plant-based meals. It is much healthier and sustainable and thus is becoming popular. So, restaurants are bound to get more creative with this genre of foods over time.
